What we're looking for in new members

Minecraft characters gathered around a campfire

We're not trying to fill a server. We're trying to build a community.

That means we're selective. Not because we think we're better than other servers, but because we've learned that the wrong fit hurts everyone - the person who joins expecting something different, and the community that has to absorb the mismatch.

Here's what we're actually looking for.

Adults who want to build, not just play

We're 18+ only, but age is just the baseline. What we're really looking for is a certain mindset.

You don't need to be an expert builder. Some of our best members started with dirt huts. What matters is that you're interested in creating something - whether that's a massive cathedral, a cozy cottage, a functioning farm, or just a place that feels like yours.

If you log in mainly to grind, PvP, or collect items, this probably isn't the right fit. We're more interested in what you make than what you have.

People who show up

We're not asking for daily logins or activity requirements. Life happens. People take breaks. That's fine.

But we're looking for people who, when they do play, actually engage. Say hello. Notice what others are building. Offer help when someone's stuck. Join a voice chat occasionally.

The community only works if people participate in it.

Low drama, high trust

We don't have extensive rules because we expect members to not need them. If you need a rule to tell you not to grief, steal, or be cruel to others - this isn't the place.

We're looking for people who default to kindness. Who assume good intent. Who talk things out when there's friction instead of escalating.

Drama is exhausting. We've all been on servers where it takes over. We're actively trying to build something different.

Collaborative mindset

Some of the best moments in SuegoFaults history came from projects that started as "hey, want to help me with this?"

We're looking for people who get excited when someone else succeeds. Who share resources. Who build in ways that complement what's around them rather than competing with it.

Solo players are welcome - not everyone wants to co-build everything. But even solo builders should appreciate being part of a shared world.

Patience with a growing community

We're rebuilding. That means we don't have a massive player base yet. Some nights might be quiet. Events are still being planned. The world is new.

If you need a busy server with constant activity, we're not there yet. But if you're excited about being part of building something from the early days - helping shape what this becomes - that's exactly what we need.

What we're NOT looking for

To be direct:

  • Players under 18 (no exceptions)
  • People looking for factions, PvP, or competitive gameplay
  • Anyone who needs constant entertainment or structured content
  • Players who've been banned from multiple servers (we do check)
  • People who see rules as challenges to work around

The application process

We read every application. It's not a formality - it's how we get to know you before you join.

Tell us about yourself honestly. We're not looking for perfect answers. We're looking for people who seem like they'd fit what we're building.

If there's a spot and you're a fit, you'll start with a 7-day trial. It's low pressure - a chance for both sides to confirm it's a good match.

We don't accept everyone. That's the point. But if what you've read here resonates, there's a good chance you're exactly who we're looking for.

Ready to Find Your People?

We're selective because trust matters. If you want to build with people you respect, apply.
