Exploring the World
Finding your spot and the world border
Finding your spot is one of the best parts of joining a new server. Here's what you need to know about the world.
Finding a Place to Build
The world started fresh in January 2026, so there's plenty of untouched terrain to explore. The area around spawn fills up over time, but for now you've got plenty of options.
- Look for signs of players. Torches, paths, structures - if you see them, someone's nearby.
- Keep some distance. Give other builds at least 100-200 blocks of space. If you want to build closer, ask first.
- Claim your spot. Put up a sign, build something - make it clear the area is yours.
The World Border
The world has a border to keep file sizes manageable. It's set at Β±15,000 blocks from spawn in each direction. That's plenty of space - most players never get close to the edge.
Biomes and Resources
The world has all the biomes you'd expect. With the fresh start in 2026, resources are plentiful:
- Diamonds β Same Y-levels as always. The deeper, the better.
- Ancient Debris - The Nether is big. You'll find it.
- Specific biomes - Ask in Discord if you're looking for something specific. Someone probably knows where it is.
The End
Death and Getting Back
You will dieβit happens. Before you venture far:
- Set your bed spawn. Sleep in a bed at your base before exploring.
- Write down coordinates. Your death location, your base, important spots.
- Don't carry everything. Leave valuables at home when exploring new areas.
Respecting Others' Builds
If you find something that looks player-made:
- Don't take from chests unless they're clearly marked as public.
- Don't modify builds without permission.
- Don't build too close - give people their space.
When in doubt, ask in Discord. "Hey, is anyone's base near X, Y coordinates?" People are helpful.
