Reference for the world — borders, locations, the Nether, and where to find things. The world started fresh in January 2026.
The Overworld border sits at ±15,000 blocks from spawn in each direction — about 900 million blocks of surface area. The same border applies in the Nether. The world will expand as the community grows.
Spawn
Everyone starts at roughly -107, 61, -54. The Donation Shed, community farms,
and paths leading out are all here. See Getting Started
for the full breakdown.
Finding Your Spot
The world started fresh in 2026, so there's plenty of untouched terrain. A few things to keep in mind:
- Look for signs of players. Torches, paths, structures — if you see them, someone's nearby.
- Keep some distance. Give other builds at least 100-200 blocks of space. If you want to build closer, ask first.
- Claim your spot. Put up a sign, build something — make it clear the area is yours.
Respecting Others' Builds
If you find something that looks player-made:
- Don't take from chests unless they're clearly marked as public.
- Don't modify builds without permission.
- Don't build too close — give people their space.
When in doubt, ask in Discord. "Hey, is anyone's base near X, Y coordinates?" People are helpful.
Player Builds
The Nether
The Nether is 8x faster than walking in the Overworld — one block here equals eight out there. It's the backbone of fast travel once people start connecting bases.
Portal Math
To link a Nether portal to your Overworld base, divide your X and Z coordinates by 8 and build the Nether-side portal at those coordinates. Y doesn't matter for linking.
Example: Overworld base at X:800, Z:400 → Nether portal at X:100, Z:50.
If you need help getting portals to link correctly, ask in Discord. It can be tricky the first time.
The End
Where to Find Things
- Diamonds — best at Y -58 or lower. The deeper, the better.
- Ancient debris — Nether, Y 8–22. Slow going but untouched.
- Specific biomes — ask in Discord. Someone usually knows where things are, or will go looking with you.
Death and Getting Back
You will die — it happens. Before you venture far:
- Set your bed spawn. Sleep in a bed at your base before exploring.
- Write down coordinates. Your base, important spots, the death location if you can get back.
- Don't carry everything. Leave valuables at home when exploring new areas.
